EDC Las Vegas was last week. Electric Forest is still ongoing, but it looks like Insomniac Events’ Pasquale Rotella isn’t taking any breaks. He just announced that he was preparing to roll out changes to EDC Las Vegas while live-streaming on Instagram from Electric Forest.
This year, Insomniac announced a few changes to the shuttle system by banning all outside companies, which unfortunately was one of the main pain points for attendees. It’s also worth noting that for the first time in ‘many years,’ EDC Las Vegas failed to sell out. This was despite high attendance figures in line with the last few years and several new rap acts billed for the first time ever with Metro Boomin’ and DJ Khaled taking on BassPod and Cosmic Meadows respectively.
Could both things be the catalyst for some changes? Who knows. But either way, it looks like Pasquale’s been scheming and we can’t wait to hear what he’s got planned for us.
