Autograf’s music is already fairly chill, so it’s interesting to conceptualize and materialize something with an artist that is similarly chill. Does it just have a different degree of chill, or does there have to be something more inventive with the mix to make it really stand out?
From the beginning, “Nobody Knows” was a very slow roller, creeping along its melody and delicate arpeggios. COFRESI’s remix takes the general melody and bumps up the energy a bit, adding some more wild synths and snare rolls, upping the tempo and throwing in some ethereal vocal chops.
It’s definitely a more interesting take on the original, perhaps even better? They serve different purposes entirely, but it’s safe to say we’d probably enjoy COFRESI’s interpretation more in a live setting. Check it out below.
