MORTEN Pushes New Single “Keep Me From You” and It’s Majestic

One of last year’s biggest tracks had to be “Beautiful Heartbreak” from Danish DJ and producer MORTEN. Since then, his music emits a strong, powerful pull on electronic music’s biggest acts that include collaborating with the likes of Steve Aoki, and Borgeous while being remixed by acts like Avicii and Deorro. Nowadays, MORTEN has been flexing his creative muscles with songs like “TTFU” with Riggi & Piros and his solo project “Hypnotized”. But with his latest project, the Dane steps away from the aggressive direction of his last two bangers in favor of melodic force and savory bass.

MORTEN’s new single “Keep Me From You” opens with high-pitched vocal chops that become instrumental to the body of his latest composition. Listeners are welcomed to the melancholic singing of ODA, who’s lyrics are powered by sentiments of separation and the effective power of love. Even though this song was stuck in production purgatory for about two years and altered over nine times, these two artists concoct a future bass anthem that explodes with emotional gravity and technical dexterity. The result is a fantastic wonderwall of sound that could easily become MORTEN’s next big hit while showcasing his genre diversity away from four-to-the-floor.
