Things Past fka Watereta just put out this brilliantly emotional and melodic remix for “Everleigh” by Lolahiko. If you’ve never heard of any of these people, that’s fine, neither had I before I was sent this remix for review. But now having listened to this remix on repeat, I have a feeling I’m going to be giving them both a lot more attention in my listening habits over the next week.
Speaking of this remix specifically, the vocals become the center of the remix, with a simple drum pattern and perfectly accompanying bassline. This liquid drum & bass tune is certainly a phenomenal effort from Things Past and we’re looking forward to what else he can do in the future.
