The name Jon Sudano is one that’s taken the Internet by storm over the past few months for his hysterical and meme-friendly covers of popular pop music song using the lyrics from Smash Mouth’s classic song “All Star” in place of the original track’s vocals. The addition of his iconic neck beard and sincerely pleasant singing voice only add to the comedy, making the experience of watching his videos feel like you’re a member of high society meme culture.
Sudano’s latest cover came this week, replacing the vocals from The Chainsmokers‘ “Closer” with his own Smash Mouth rendition. With perfect tuning and expertly tailored vocal chops, his passionate eyes-shut crooner is an instant classic.
