If you’re a fan of melodic or future inspired sounds, you’ve probably come across Said the Sky at one point or another. With hit tracks like “Darling” and “Book of Us” receiving support from the likes of Porter Robinson, Seven Lions, Vanic and many more, to his hit remix of The Chainsmokers “All We Know,” not to mention his hit collab “Rush Over Me” with Seven Lions and Illenium, the Denver native has impressed us again and again with his ingenious and beautiful sound that is a visceral wave of joy and emotion. Last year, Said the Sky saw a high level of national support as he embarked on the road to support Illenium on his debut headline tour, and now has returned for his own headliner switching from a solely DJ set to a comprehensive live experience you have to see to believe.
Combining his prowess behind a piano with drum pads and two CDJs, Said the Sky presents his beautifully curated live shows that will have you dancing, sobbing and smiling all at the same time. Creating live edits of hits by Porter Robinson, Slow Hours, Lookas, San Holo and more as well as debuting a plethora of unreleased new hits that will have you weak in the knees, Said the Sky holds nothing back as he prepares to show the world the inner workings of his soul. Featuring an incredible visual display with lights, lasers and hyper realistic LED projections, each moment is like seeing a story unfold. Just off his first two dates, including his first sold out headline play at the Bluebird in Denver, the iconic rising star brings out special guests like Illenium and part of the CU Boulder drum line to incorporate a whole new level of live surrealism that cannot be missed.
While no future dates have been planned for his Always Summer tour, details should be well on their way and this is definitely one show you do not want to miss this 2017.
