Yellow Claw and DJ Snake have teamed up once again for another hit collaboration. Unlike their previous collaboration “Ocho Cinco,” “Good Day” features the vocals of Elliphant and for lack of a better term – is far less of a ‘banger’ than you might have expected.
Instead, the track stands out for its more restrained and melodic elements, similar to “Love & War” which separates it from the Yellow Claw sound of old. The intro kicks off with the same aggressive Yellow Claw percussion, albeit toned down, before we hit a quintessentially ‘DJ Snake’ styled drop. If that’s not enough, the outro takes an unexpected orchestral turn with a chorus of strings ushering us out the door.
