There have been plenty of “Paris” remixes at this point, and I’ve been meaning to get to this Vincent remix for quite some time. Though his name doesn’t evoke the kind of pop interest of curiosity that some weirder artist names might, Vincent is definitely someone you’ll want to keep an eye on.
Vincent’s remix of “Paris” by The Chainsmokers follows a fairly usual future bass style, with sweltering synth sweeps and some softly padded kicks. Where he gets ahead is undoubtedly in his arrangement and sound design, smoothing out rough edges and placing sounds in interesting juxtapositions. The final drop is particularly wonderful.
