Matthew Koma may have gotten his big break from Tiesto’s “Wasted,” but he hasn’t squandered the opportunity. After featuring on many other prominent DJ’s tracks from Flux Pavilion to Alesso, Koma is dropping his forthcoming RCA debut with tracks including “Kisses Back.”
Also on the EP will be this one, “Hard To Love,” co-produced by Louis The Child. The record shows how unique Koma’s songwriting is, with deep metaphorical verses paired with his own style of comedic yet serious undertones as seen with the following lyrics: “I’m OCD with panic attacks / I’ve got a thing for Japanese dry snacks / My voice was on like every fuckin house track / Tell me when you’ve heard enough…“
Paired with Louis The Child’s ear for poppy melodies, “Hard To Love” is as far from an apt description of the track as could be. Check it out below.
