Over the past month, we’ve seen unfortunate hacks on major Facebook pages from Disclosure (twice) to The Weeknd. Supposedly perpetrated by OurMine, the same team that hacked deadmau5′ Twitter page not so long ago, The Chainsmokers became the latest victim just moments ago.
Though the initial post was decidedly less lewd than the rest of the hacks we’ve seen lately, it still exposes vulnerability from Facebook and many artists’ social media pages, and also raises the inevitable question that if weak security from major labels are to blame.
The hackers have upped the ante with their next posts however, many of which match previous hacks on the aforementioned pages.
The post is still up here at time of publication.
