Covering, remixing, or interpreting Radiohead in any way is no easy task. It takes a certain amount of fortitude to even approach the idea, let alone execute it in a fashion worthy of the classic single, but we’ve seen a couple artists do it justice, like this one from Ember Island.
Now, KSHMR has stepped up for his own iteration of “Creep,” and it’s nothing like what we could have anticipated. The introductory atmosphere stays true to the original with a thick and dark soundscape, but the arrangement turns unexpectedly lighthearted when it approaches the chorus with delicate percussion and lofty synthesizers.
