Ben Remember’s ‘Shaker’ EP Is A Tech House Monster [Toolroom Trax]

If there’s one name you need to know, it’s Ben Remember. He’s really taken off this year with massive singles like “Flashwind” and “Run Away”, along with a infectious remix for Hannah Wants and their hit “Just” that earned a premiere from none other than Pete Tong. Ben has pioneered this gritty and monstrous tech house feel that is simply electrifying. He’s a prominent name on the Toolroom Records roster and has shown no signs of slowing down this year, especially with his brand new EP, ‘Shaker’!

Kicking off the EP is “Shaker”, and it’s a colossal tune at that. The bass movement is incredible and locks your heart in right away as Ben seamlessly layers eerie yet animated samples that build into beautiful chaos. I can honestly say I’ve never heard a song like this.

Following and also closing out the EP is “The Dancer”, which is sure to be another club favorite this year. It carries a deeper tone, with heavy underground influence that make this another stand out tune. Whether you’re in a club or listening on your laptop, you’ll still feel the enormity of the song. It’s that good.

Ben Remember’s ‘Shaker’ EP is without a doubt one of the best I’ve heard all year and so far has earned quite the accolade of electronic fans all around the world as it’s currently sitting at #8 on Beatport’s tech house charts. Ben Remember is a guy who you won’t be able to forget and is on track for a HUGE year in 2017.
