Tropical house has seen its fair share of imitators and up and coming hopefuls but Sons Of Maia and Angelika Vee truly know how to create something unique and thoroughly on par with some of the scenes heavyweights such as Thomas Jack and Kygo. Through use of variating melodic elements layered over a calm vocal line, “Sweet Madness” really speaks for itself as far as originality goes, while giving real credit to the genre as a whole with the diversity of mellow drum lines, which play quite nicely against the melody. Looking forward to hearing more from these artists.
