For Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, every track they release comes with a healthy dose of scrutiny. As they gear up for their debut album (whenever that might be), they continue to put out tracks that decimate dance floors. Their latest, “Leaves,” is no exception.
With one of the most anthemic builds I’ve heard in a long minute, “Leaves” descends into an intense, dirty electro drop that will have even the most staunch DVLM hater moving in their dungarees. The track actually takes some elements from Kanye West’s “Blood On The Leaves,” which took elements from TNGHT’s “R U Ready,” but in a fresh new way.
