Our favorite subreddit /r/edm (sorry, /r/skrillex!) recently decided to hold a vote on their 100 favorite DJs, and the results are finally here. 572 votes later, Martin Garrix has emerged as the first out of 472 unique DJs who received nominations.
The grading system used was fairly simple 5 points for first place, 4 points for 2nd place, and so forth while top amount of votes were the deciding factor in tie-breakers.

There are no real surprises in the top 10 minus the inclusion of Illenium who surprised us all with two of the best remixes of the entire year with first his remix for The Chainsmokers and then Flume – both of whom are just above him in the rankings at #2 and #7 respectively. Both Porter Robinson and Madeon have done little this year in terms of releases other than their collaboration “Shelter,” but they both continue to put on two of the best live shows in the game. 
If you’re wondering where some of the other A-listers are, we’ve got the numbers right here.#11-#20 sees a plethora of stars including Dillon Francis, Deadmau5, DJ Snake, Zedd, and Tiësto. Calvin Harris and Diplo both sit just inside the top 30 at #28 and #30 overall, respectively, while Avicii is left feeling a little lonely at #31.
