We might be a month late on this, but there’s no better time to combine the two most viral things of summer 2016, Harambe and “Closer,” with this hilarious new “remix” tribute.
Producer Takka took the melody from “Closer” by The Chainsmokers and Halsey, adding in plenty of gunshot samples and gorilla sounds, to tell us the haunting tale of Harambe’s sad demise. Best of all, there’s even a short Harambe monologue where the bridge in the actual “Closer” usually lies.
