Los Angeles-based producer/DJ Justin Jay has done things up on a larger scale this year. After spending the past couple of months on tour and releasing his debut album, the dirtybird star is finally revealing some of the funkiest, most talked about tunes that he’s been featuring in his sets. Coming in the form of the Fantastic Edits EP, the new release includes an edit of Tag Team’s “Whoomp,” a ‘Bangin Bootleg’ edit of Sly & The Family Stone’s “Dance To The Music,” a collaboration with Larry “The Shadow” Muscrove on “Twinkle,” and our favorite party-starter edit of HNNY’s “Sneeze.”
Adding to the excitement, Justin Jay will also be releasing the EP on his newly announced Fantastic Voyage Record label, a new home to the assorted and diverse musical offerings from his crew of artist friends. It almost seems the young producer has been breaking new ground by the month, so we’re excited to see what’s to come from this latest addition to his career.
