New York-based producer and vocalist HVNNIBVL has just released his latest track, this time in the form of a soaring and highly original solo work called “Let Me.” Featuring a cavalcade of musical influences and an ever-evolving stylistic focus, the song comes as one of the most powerful on HVNNIBVL’s impressive roster of work.
It begins with atmospheric elements and distant percussion hits behind his crisp vocals and light arpeggios. A series of harsh claps and white noise eventually swell upwards into the drop, releasing into a nasty amalgam of deep brass stings, bell hits and squealing synths. The energy is halted for a moment so that HVNNIBVL’s vocals can return with full force before it breaks once more. This round, sweeping future bass synths take over the spotlight above a rumbling sub bass.
