Yesterday, the dance world was left gawking at Feed Me’s remix of “Strobe”, but after the dwarvish green monster hinted at a secret, we’re even more enthralled with the new interpretation of deadmau5′ classic adventure.

Of course, we had to give it a go, and what we heard was a stroke of genius. Listening to the video clip normally, the remix bears a haunting resemblance to the same progressions of “Strobe”, and comes across as a darkened version of the track. But when played in reverse, we can hear the emotionally rich “Strobe” melody in all its original glory. It makes sense in theory, but the execution is what takes our breath away.
