Skrillex and Wiwek hosted an unprecedented showing of their extended film, Still In The Cage, to a packed Los Angeles crowd at the Ace Hotel on Wednesday evening. Coming as a passion project created over the course of several months, the film displayed three of the artists most noteworthy tracks above an immersive and twisting storyline.
It follows the lives of three friends who decide to steal a boat and voyage away from their problems down the river, when they happen upon a dangerous-looking tribe on one of the banks. They are taken in and shown the ways of the tribe, before drinking a strange fluid and being locked in a cage to complete their acceptance process.
