Getter Produces Hip Hop Track In Memory Of Deceased Gorilla Harambe

The loss of a loved one takes its toll in very serious ways. Some go into denial, others fall into a whirlpool of grief. But for the supporters of the Cincinnati Zoo’s star gorilla Harambe, the ultimate sign of respect and mourning is shown by pulling their d*** out of their pants.

The fatal shooting of Harambe took place after a young boy fell into his enclosure. Since then, there has been a nonstop onrush of Internet memes, posts, songs, videos and other forms of support. As one of the longest running meme trains in 2016, it’s safe to say that Harambe will always occupy a very special place in our hearts.

The most recent Harambe-themed track to be released was by none other than Getter and Korean-American rapper DUMBFOUNDEAD. The two’s spin uses samples from real news reports and a simple but deadly rhythm from Getter, culminating in a hard-hitting and hilarious tribute to the deceased. According to the Soundcloud post, a music video is also soon to follow.

Listen to “Harambe” below. We miss him so much.
