Aretha Franklin is without a doubt one of music’s most revered icons. Her voice is unparalleled still to this day, maintaining a legacy that has inspired just about every artist we listen to. “Chain Of Fools” is arguably one of Aretha’s greatest works, and is no easy task to remix. One man felt up to the task, the one and only Luca Guerrieri, an international star responsible for producing some of the greatest house music around.
His remix has been labeled as an “Ibiza bomb”, and rightfully so. He’s flipped the track into an underground anthem with an intoxicating rhythm that is irresistible. I’m already calling out this one as his best tune yet, something that will remain timeless for many years to come.
