Lane 8 Announces forthcoming U.S. Tour and releases two tracks

In an effort to buck the trend of phone use during his DJ sets, Lane 8 conceptualized a show that banned all use of such devices. He debuted his foreign idea at San Francisco’s Mezzanine back in June, and received overwhelming participation and support from fans.

Now, the show that left no digital footprint is officially making its way across the country. Lane 8 yesterday announced that he will be taking his “This Never Happened” show on tour for all to experience first-hand. He plans to only play extended sets, in hopes that people will leave their phones and the real world behind, and enjoy the music in the moment.

Spanning 17 destinations across North America, the tour will last a little over 3 months and includes stops at major dance music hubs including Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Washington DC, among others. Pre-sale for the tour begins on today at 10 a.m. ET, and general sale follows on August 5, 10 a.m. local time. Fans will be able to purchase tickets here.

Following his massive tour details, Lane 8 also announced his next This Never Happened release, a two track EP on consisting of “Divina” and “Crush”.
