Several months ago I had the good fortune of stumbling upon an emerging g-house DJ/producer I had previously not heard of Maddmon who himself had the good fortunes of being MALAA’s opener. Since then, the producer’s been blessed with endorsements from the other godfathers in the g-house realm, Destructo, Ghastly, and more which brings us to his latest single “Get Down”.
“Get Down” is a raw, aggressive affair from start to finish punctuated by a thumping bassline and a sultry female vocal telling us to ‘get down’, naturally. Maddmon also throws in some pitched vocals and aggressive percussion kicks with the vocal sample which will have you dancing straight from the club to the after party.
