After weeks of anxiously awaiting the arrival of Major Lazer & Justin Bieber’s new collaboration, “Cold Water” is finally here.
As expected, the tune is dipped neck-deep in the same inspiration as that of “Lean On,” and even MØ is present once again for this anticipated follow up. Bieber’s lyrics are drenched in the melancholy of unrequited love, and face an intelligent juxtaposition from the breakdown’s uplifting brass, while a latin guitar meanders about the entire track.
