Taylor Swift Ditches Pseudonym, Receives Credit On Calvin Harris’ “TIWYCF”

Not even a week ago, Taylor Swift’s team confirmed that she had co-written Calvin Harris & Rihanna’s newest hit, “This Is What You Came For,” under a pseudonym. Now that the information is out in the open and Calvin has been throwing shade at Taylor on Twitter, it seems that she’s gone one further and actually registered her real name on BMI and has been added as credit to the writing team for the track.

While this seems like a fairly logical progression, the underlying reason for the change could potentially be much more sinister. As a writer, Taylor is afforded greater legal standing over the track.

“Although it’s Calvin’s name on the song, Taylor wrote it which gives her plenty of muscle and her voice is on there too,” an insider told the Daily Star.

“If they wanted to, they could both dispute who did what and the song may never get played on radio again. It would be a shame but they both have plenty of other hits.”

Calvin seems to be brushing it off, however, as he’s been spotted with a new belle in tow – none other than Tinashe. The two have been spotted at Malibu hotspot Nobu, though a source confirms that it’s “only been weeks, so it’s still pretty casual right now.”

The two previously collaborated on Harris’ album Motion in 2014.
