Currently out for release through established drum and bass label V Recordings is ‘Stay Forever’, the powerful new EP from Paul T & Edward Oberon. The duo was snapped up by the label a while back, and have been making stellar cuts ever since.
This fresh three-track affair is another chance to witness the diverse production creativity the pair has, and they say of the release: “It’s almost a textbook of how we remain musically versatile, within the context of a consistently soulful sound. No matter what we do, we still want to maintain our identity.”
Our favourite here has to be the driving, uplifting sounds of the title track, but the raw-edged, drum laden ‘Fire’ is going to be an absolute on dark dance floors when it gets dropped.
