Martin Garrix‘s STMPD Records was recently announced as the newest addition to Beats 1‘s ever-impressive roster of EDM label radio-shows and the first episode has finally arrived.
STMPD Radio ranks among the likes of Skrillex‘s OWSLA Beats 1 show (listen here) and deadmau5‘s mau5trap Beats 1 show (listen here), making for one epic headlining trio.
Every other week the show is slated to feature hour-long mixes from both Garrix and a special guest. For the debut episode the no-longer-teenaged Garrix brought on board an 18-year-old star in his own right, Steve James. The youngster first made serious waves in the dance music scene after landing production credits on the title track from Justin Bieber‘s newest album.
Now, James takes to the inaugural STMPD Records radio show to debut his new song, “In My Head,” which is slated for release on July 1st. Although not confirmed, Garrix pledges James will have releases soon on STMPD at the episodes inception, and we presume “In My Head” is the first.
