On top of The Governors Ball’s unfortunate weather cancellation on day three, VICE trolled the event harder than deadmau5 with their first-ever livestream.
Now, first time jitters and hiccups are completely understandable, but when your job is to make an event look good, the last thing to say is that the festival is “mostly a lot of standing around…” We can imagine some longer-than-usual prep times for the multi-genre festival, but constantly referencing the bands taking their sweet-ass time makes the wait seem like an eternity.
While the livestream cringe-factor is at an all time high, we can’t help but applaud just how awkward the programming is. It’s almost as if VICE did it on purpose.
