New England-born producer Pierce Fulton was hospitalized on May 1 with multiple fractured ribs and a punctured lung after colliding with a tree and falling into a lake while using a rope swing in Whistler, British Columbia. He was released from the hospital today, May 6, but said in a Facebook post that he will continue to heal at home.
“I am very optimistic in my recovery and hope that this accident will not disrupt any of my musical plans. My next show is May 20th at We Are NRG Festival in San Bernardino and I’m really really hoping I can still play it, even if I need a stool or something to sit on.”
Fulton said he plans on maintaining his release schedule, including single “Losing You” this month and an EP in June.
