Straight off the heels of his Fantastic Voyage Tour across Australia and North America, LA’s rising tech/deep house talent Justin Jay returns to deliver another set of Justin Jay & Friends’ tunes off of the London-based deep house label, Freerange Records. For the past month, the young producer has been releasing a steady stream of new music off his debut Fantastic Voyage album, calling upon his college friends to create this special collaborative project that has been growing into something unlike we’ve seen before from Justin Jay.
After mesmerizing fans with his smooth-flowing, blissful tunes like “Can’t Complain” and “What Do You Want,” Justin Jay takes things one step deeper by enlisting the talents of emerging producer and former college roommate Ulf Bonde. Their track “I See You” stands as their first collaborative single, and is a temperate, sensual single that makes use of Josh Taylor’s distinct vocals to create a downright seductive affair. The second track “Indecision” featuring Josh Taylor and Benny Bridges follows suit, mending together controlled percussion and blues-y guitar rhythms that amount to a groovin’ dance floor tune.
