Premiere: Blasterjaxx ft. Courtney Jenaé – “Forever” (Max Moore Remix) [Dim Mak]

The borderline between trance and house gets a bad reputation, but every once in a while, it actually works. Case in point: this remix of Blasterjaxx’s “Forever” ft. Courtney Jenaé. Though producer Max Moore identifies as a big-room producer (his influences include Avicii and Fedde Le Grand), his hometown of Rotterdam (where Ferry Corsten is also from) suggests there might be a slight appreciation for that heart-racingly fast genre too. His remix of “Forever” focuses much more on the emotion behind Jenaé’s lyrics, and uses a higher range of synths for the main melody than the original to enhance them. But don’t worry to any big room fans – this isn’t that aggressive 140 bpm trance that you’d hear at Armin Van Buuren’s set. The slower tempo will attract more dance music fans as its in a range that everyone can enjoy.

“Forever (Max Moore Remix)” is a part of a massive 5-track remix package from Dim Mak, in stores tomorrow.
