As if Gorillaz fever can reach any higher, frontman Damon Albarn just put on a performance for The Clash bassist Paul Simonon, also bassist for the Gorillaz.
Simonon turned 60 this weekend, and Damon decided to serenade him with a live rendition of “Dare” from The Gorillaz’ second album, Demon Days. The really exciting part is that Noel Gallagher of Oasis also joined in, as well as The Pretenders’ founder Chrissie Hynde.

We know that the Gorillaz are planning a return in 2016, perhaps we can expect a guest appearance from Noel, as well.
