New Daft Punk Documentary Coming to Showtime Next Month

Rejoice Daft Punk fans! The robot duo from France has a new documentary coming to the U.S. and it’s less than a month away.

Over in France, the new Daft Punk documentary aptly titled Daft Punk Unchained is heading to store shelves for a Blu-ray release. However, the new special is confirmed to be making its way over to the United States and to play on Showtime on December 10th.

Daft Punk Unchained details the meteoric rise of members Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem Christo from their start in the early French club scene to their current mainstream success as Grammy-winning musicians. The documentary is also stacked with a lineup of incredible interviews including Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder, Paul Williams, Todd Edwards, Pete Tong and many more. It will also include a special theme song made for specifically for the documentary made by Joseph Trapanese who worked with Daft Punk on the film score for Tron: Legacy.
