The emerging LA star has been a serial remixer of both old school and new school stars, delivering stand-out remixes of Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me,” The Who’s “Baba O’Reilly,” and Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me,” making Bieber’s “What Do You Mean” an obvious choice for his next remix, and Caruso knocks this one out of the park.
Teaming up with the immensely talented Angelika Vee for vocals, Caruso manages to capture the pop-leaning soul of Bieber’s original in his genre-defying remix that borrows elements from future trap, house, and electro for an impressive combination.
