The plethora of mystery artists that have emerged in EDM haven’t gone unnoticed, and the technique has become cheesy and frivolous to say the least. But denying the talent of a select few such producers is unwise.
Grey is a shining example. Emerging with two refreshing bootleg remixes, one of “Beautiful Now” by Zedd and another of the hit collab betwixt Jack Ü & Justin Bieber, “Where Are Ü Now,” the LA-based duo – as we have come to learn – has set out to establish their own sound combining organic instruments and a distinct Marshmello & Jack Ü trapped-out flair that is truly groundbreaking.
And speaking of not going unnoticed, it appears that Zedd himself has reached down to offer this duo the opportunity of a lifetime: an official ticket for their “Beautiful Now” rendition and an upload to his incredibly popular SoundCloud which, in three days, has amassed more plays than their own despite being around for nearly a month.
