Tritonal have ventured out into unchartered territory with their latest track, and it’s so weird, it works. “Gamma Gamma” employs tribal chanting instead of the delicate female vocals we’re used to hearing from the American duo. In fact, the track as a whole is much harder than what Chad and Dave have been putting out lately, stepping away from progressive tunes like “Untouchable” with Cash Cash and edging closer towards “Ginsu” or their remix of Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town.” Even with a different, more electro sound, there’s still that signature crisp, Tritonal production during the synth build, perfect for clubs and mainstages across the world this festival season. Listen to a preview of “Gamma Gamma” below, and start getting ready for their sophomore album this fall.
