Alison Wonderland’s debut album Run was heavily anticipated but left many fans with a rather fleeting sense of pleasure, ultimately regarded as lackluster – a brilliant attempt at a first album, but falling a bit short.
EASY GIRL X NiklāvZ managed to turn the title track, slow trap ballad “Run” into a future bass banger with humongous bass stabs magnificent drum fills. The pacing is definitely one of the highlights of this, playing with the tempo and rhythm and making them submissive. I’d have to say that this version definitely piques my interest a lot more than the original. Sorry, Alison.
