We’re in two minds about the latest single from Melbourne Bounce act Vigiland. ‘Shots & Squats’, which was released today through Universal Sweden, is an uncompromising explosion of beats and vocals. Most definitely catered towards those who go for wild themes over subtlety, this track may well take off as festival season takes over.
Slightly garish vocals lead the way here, with a refreshing guitar melody that adds some substance. The beat is unmistakably catchy though, and each breakdown ignites more energy for the rest of the tune.
