Comprised of Miike Snow’s Christian Karlsson and Style of Eye’s Linus Eklöw, the Swedish house phenom, Galantis, has procured quite a following within the last year. Yesterday, the duo hosted their own Ask Me Anything on Reddit, answering a slew of questions from the online community. While they weren’t overly candid, the interactions shed more light on their combined personalities and hinted towards what Galantis might hold in store for the future.
After confirming a new Miike Snow album for this year, Christian and Linus revealed several gems over the course of questioning, such as their love for Dillon Francis’ remix of “Runaway,” finding inspiration through Prince, and a thirst for more bass (maybe we’ll have some heavier tracks to look forward to, á la Cazzette and “Alcoholic”).
