Modern alt rock generally isn’t a popular remix target for dance music artists–while the occasional track surfaces here and there, the gruff male vocals don’t tend to translate well into an electronic setting, and converting an organic musical setting into synthesizers is often iffy. But every once in a while, there’s one that really shines–and, fittingly, one remix by Matisse & Sadko for Shinedown came through. Entitled Unity, this remix is a feel-good big-room tune with an Avicii-esque piano drop that really highlights the beauty of the duo’s production. Check it out below!
