After an epic closing set at Ultra Music Festival 2015, Skrillex is set to continue his dominance of dance music this year fresh off of a stellar 2014. Skrillex is more than just an EDM superstar though, he’s also an industry pioneer and tastemaker who has the ability to super charge any artists’ career.
His bi-weekly Skrillex Selects offers such an opportunity to artists that have released records that Sonny is promoting or just that he found and is enjoying. We’ve seen tracks with hundreds of plays and tracks with millions of plays, and this week’s picks are just as excellent as ever.

Kendrick Lamar – Momma [Top Dawg]
Whether you’re down with all of Kendrick’s new record or not, “Momma” is a tune that I think everyone can agree is on point. Old school feel with a message.
Jack Ü x Justin Bieber – Where Are Ü Now (Rusty Hook Flip) [Unreleased]
The inventive Frenchman, Rusty Hook, flips up my favorite tune from the new Jack Ü record, replacing the original uplifting lead with massive synth walls and some crafty use of Bieber’s vocals. Of all the remixes out so far for “Where Are Ü Now”, I think it’s pretty clear to see which one Sonny’s been most impressed by.”
