Making an online petition to cancel artists from performances seem to be all the rage these days. First it was fans calling for the cancellation of Krewella at Summer Camp Music festival and now, Kanye West. While Krewella didn’t deserve the childish petition that is based on disgruntled fans, the full force of Kanye’s petition could be seen by some as being well deserved.
Kanye West is set to headline the iconic Glastonbury Festival this summer which has long been the pinnacle of music festivals in the UK. With Glastonbury’s deep roots and history, fans quickly picked up arms against the announcement of Kanye West’s performance:
“This egotistical, maniacal, disgrace was a clear oversight. There is still time to correct this.”
Between the Anonymous video, insulting Beck and more, Kanye West has exhausted his fans’ support.
