Hardwell is attempting to redeem himself following the release of his debut album “United We Are,” which faced very mixed reviews, with an official remix for the radio icon Calvin Harris.
Tackling the record “Outside” featuring the one-and-only Ellie Goulding, the Dutchman follows his signature festival-inspired structure into a heavy electro drop that is just brimming with energy. A new festival mainstay that you’ll surely hear from EDC to Tomorrowland and every main stage in between, Hardwell’s remix of “Outside” is nothing spectacular, nothing new, but it’s well produced, traditionally structured, and is a big step away from the mess that was “Sally.”
