For the past 30 years, the International Dance Music Awards have been taking place in Miami during the famous Winter Music Conference. The awards focus on selecting the best DJs, musicians, services and subscriptions from a series of categories, ranging from Best Hardstyle DJ, all the way to the Best Global DJ. The winner is chosen based on popular vote as fans of each nominee can access the ballot and submit their vote for the wide range of selection.

Now I’m going to be honest, the categories picked seem a bit arbitrary, also the IDMA are essentially a popularity contest as the DJ with the largest following has that much greater of a chance of winning.
