This newest single from Feed Me, from his forthcoming EP, A Giant Warrior Descends On Tokyo, is a lot different from anything that we’ve previously heard from the little green monster. Though, at the same time, the bassline is characteristically Feed Me, like you can just tell that it’s him.
The vocal chops are enough of a hook on their own, and you can almost sing “bu-b-b-b-bubble butt” along with it, though I doubt that’s what is being said. This is probably one of Feed Me’s more experimental songs that he’s made yet, even as it struggles to stay within current genre definitions. It’s slightly moombah, a lot of electro, but basically it’s just Feed Me.
That bassline is über bouncy, the backing vocals are almost tribal or Native American-esque, and the track title is nonsensical. Honestly, I probably shouldn’t expect anything less from one of the leaders of mainstream EDM that tries to turn it on its head every chance he gets.
