Teased and discussed a few weeks ago, the highly anticipated Skrillex and Superjam documentary is finally upon us. Below is a series of videos that detail the process of assembling Bonnaroo’s Superjam 2014 artist team, all the way to the actual live show. For those not in the know, Superjam is a special set during Bonnaroo’s 4 day musical adventure, where artists from different genres join forces for a historic and memorable performance. Last year saw the likes of Skrillex, Big Gigantic, Damian Marley, Thundercat, Cage the Elephant and many, many more, all stand together on stage for a set of a lifetime. Truly words cannot describe the experience, thus why we’re thankful for the documentary and videos below. Enjoy!
Credit for the wonderful documentary goes to Danny Clinch Photography and his team!

There seems to be many small minded people lately that don’t consider EDM (Specifically Dubstep and Skrillex) “Real Music”… It is funny how inaccurate those opinions are when it is so easy to find opinions and examples to the contrary… Skrillex produced and Engineered the first song by the Doors since Jim Morrison passed and also conducted, organized, Produced and Engineered the “Super Jam” for the Bonnaroo Music Festival with an all star list of artists and musicians that would make the best “Real Musicians” only wishing they could be the on the list… Not to mention that Sonny Moore (Skrillex) was in a popular and successful band and touring from before he was legal to drive… And as the lead singer and guitarist… He also played guitar live on stage for multiple tracks for Super Jam Including “Get Up, Stand Up” with Damian Marley and “Break On Through (To The Other Side)” with Robby Krieger of The Doors… The Doors Robby Krieger and The Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart both make comments to Sonny caught on tape (videos attached) that what he does to make his music is more difficult and much harder work than making traditional and instrumental “Real Music”… After seeing hundreds of concerts and DJ’s over the last 25 years, the experience I had seeing Skrillex at The Great Saltaire in October was the single best in my life and was on a never before experienced “Next Level… or two”… He effortlessly spellbound every person in the building in a hypnotic trance of exuberance, positivity, good karma and a completely uninhibited desire to bust a move like never before, and I am not speaking metaphorically… It was one of the closest examples of magic I have seen or heard… I can hardly contain myself with anticipation because I get to do it again on Friday night!!!
Take your panties off!
