Steve Aoki Shares His Summer Adventures in Mini-Documentary

About four years ago, DJ and producer Steve Aoki began a video series titled “On The Road” that follows him performing at some of the largest venues in the world (whether they be clubs or music festivals) with some of the biggest names in electronic dance music. It also displays some behind-the-scenes shenanigans and tomfoolery the king of caking people is fully capable of. Today he released his latest episode trekking the first half of his summer last year and all the things he did.

Steve Aoki talks about living in Ibiza and most of Europe for the majority of the time while hanging out with some familiar faces to the EDM world. Aside from electronic musicians like Martin Garrix, Skrillex, Tiësto, W&W, NERVO, and David Guetta, musicians and celebrities such as Jared Leto, Icona Pop, and the Mambo Brothers also appear alongside Steve Aoki as he exercises, produces, and travels around Europe. He also goes in depth into the different types of music festivals across Europe including Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Ultra Croatia, EDC UK, Tiktok, Monegros, and more. However, we also get to see Steve away from the music and see him rock climbing, surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

Although this is only a glimpse of what his full summer was like, you will be able to catch Part 2 and Part 3 of his summer experience on Wednesday and Friday respectively this week. Also, keep in mind that Steve Aoki’s Neon Future Experience Tour will be underway in February where he will be the Dim Mak action back to the United States.
