After seeing lineups for both Bonnaroo and Hangout Fest this week, Counterpoint Music and Arts Festival has followed suit.
This year, Georgia natives Widespread Panic, Zedd, The Roots, and Kygo are headlining, with special guests Knife Party. Other dance acts include: Dillon Francis, Zeds Dead, RL Grime, Gorgon City, Jauz, Bixel Boys, and many more. The festival takes place Memorial Day Weekend May 22-24, which currently coincides with other East Coast destivals Mysteryland, Sunset Music Fest, and EDC NY
Counterpoint first came to Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia in 2012. Unfortunately the festival did not return in 2013, and ID&T debuted TomorrowWorld there instead. This year, the festival returns to Kingston Downs, located just an hour outside of Atlanta. Similar to many southern festivals, Counterpoint is a celebration of art and music, with massive art installations on the campgrounds. But for those who don’t wish to camp, shuttle passes are available to and from Atlanta.
Tickets are currently on sale for $175 (GA) or $375 (VIP). For more information regarding shuttles and “glamping” (Glam camping), visit Counterpoint’s Website.
