Alex Young decided that “Make Things For Smile” and “Runaway (U&I)” had to get tossed in the musical blender with his own original goods. The result is a refreshing mashup of sorts that has been released for free on the artist’s Soundcloud page. I was a fan of the originals, but I like this tune more so than the songs it takes from. Now, it really gives me something to smile about. Alex Young’s clever production has already made its way around the internet, and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon. Expect it to be thrown in sets this year, because of the awesome factor, and because of the nostalgia factor. Get it for free and get the good vibes going.
